About

Affordable High-quality Representation In South And North Carolina

Sabreena Barboza was born in Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. After high school, she joined the Army National Guard and went on to graduate, Magna Cum Laude, from Coastal Carolina University with a B.A. in Intelligence and National Security. She then went on to pursue her Juris Doctorate, graduating Cum Laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, a top 25 law school according to U.S. News. During her time in law school, she worked for firms specializing in both Veterans Disability and Family Law and spent her last semester interning full time at the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office in Horry County, South Carolina. Upon graduation, Sabreena went on to work as an Assistant Solicitor where she specialized in prosecuting DUI and Domestic Violence cases while also working on an assortment of other crimes being prosecuted. After honing her skills and seeing how the criminal justice system worked firsthand, Sabreena realized she had the ability to help balance out the scales of justice in a different and more effective way.

She was invited to join a prestigious law firm and jumped at the chance to acquire additional skills as a criminal defense and family law attorney. Now with the combined experience from prosecuting and defending crimes as well as working in family law, Sabreena is ready to see her dream of inclusion and equity in the courtroom through to fruition with Barboza Law. Sabreena is licensed in South Carolina and North Carolina and is an active member of the South Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina Bar Association, York County Bar Association, Mecklenburg County Bar Association, and the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Criminal Law

If you have been charged with a crime it is important to seek representation of an experienced attorney immediately. As a defendant you have important rights that are often time sensitive. If you do not invoke these rights within the allotted timeframe, they are often waived.

DUI/DWI

Have you or someone you know been charged with Driving Under the Influence (DUI)? If you have, it is imperative to hire a qualified attorney as soon as possible.

Traffic Offenses

Traffic offenses can be especially penalizing for a person who has a CDL. If you have a CDL, your ability to earn a living may be detrimentally affected by a conviction for a traffic violation. With so much on the line, don’t go into Court before learning about your options.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
