Affordable High-quality Representation In South And North Carolina
Sabreena Barboza was born in Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. After high school, she joined the Army National Guard and went on to graduate, Magna Cum Laude, from Coastal Carolina University with a B.A. in Intelligence and National Security. She then went on to pursue her Juris Doctorate, graduating Cum Laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, a top 25 law school according to U.S. News. During her time in law school, she worked for firms specializing in both Veterans Disability and Family Law and spent her last semester interning full time at the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office in Horry County, South Carolina. Upon graduation, Sabreena went on to work as an Assistant Solicitor where she specialized in prosecuting DUI and Domestic Violence cases while also working on an assortment of other crimes being prosecuted. After honing her skills and seeing how the criminal justice system worked firsthand, Sabreena realized she had the ability to help balance out the scales of justice in a different and more effective way.
She was invited to join a prestigious law firm and jumped at the chance to acquire additional skills as a criminal defense and family law attorney. Now with the combined experience from prosecuting and defending crimes as well as working in family law, Sabreena is ready to see her dream of inclusion and equity in the courtroom through to fruition with Barboza Law. Sabreena is licensed in South Carolina and North Carolina and is an active member of the South Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina Bar Association, York County Bar Association, Mecklenburg County Bar Association, and the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
